Korean Folk Village in October 2026: evening dates and 16:00/18:00 tickets
Choose a listed October evening-opening date before comparing 16:00 and 18:00 tickets. An afternoon ticket does not mean the park stays open until 22:00 every weekday.

October evening-opening dates
The Korean Folk Village (한국민속촌) October 2026 calendar separates regular opening, 10:00–19:00, from evening opening, 10:00–22:00. The sale of an afternoon ticket does not establish a 22:00 closing time every day.
| Dates in October | Calendar category | Closing time |
|---|---|---|
| 16–18,23–25,30–31 | Evening opening | 22:00 |
| 15,19–22,26–29 | Regular opening | 19:00 |
An 18:00 arrival on Saturday 17 October therefore differs from the same arrival on Monday 19 October. The calendar leaves four hours until closing on Saturday and one on Monday. This is the arithmetic between arrival and park closing, not a promise that every facility is available throughout that period. Weather and on-site circumstances can change operating hours.
16:00 and 18:00 tickets
On 15 October 2026, the official ticket-purchase list displays an October 16:00 ticket at KRW 19,000 and an 18:00 ticket at KRW 17,000. It lists the 16:00 option for weekdays and weekends, and the 18:00 option for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. These are that month's online list prices; do not mix them with weekend afternoon prices in the general admission tariff.
| Listed ticket | Admission starts | List price | Time before 22:00 closing |
|---|---|---|---|
| 16:00 ticket | 16:00 | KRW 19,000 | 6 hours |
| 18:00 ticket | 18:00 | KRW 17,000 | 4 hours |
The difference is KRW 2,000 per person. If the same sales conditions apply and you want both daylight scenery and the evening, compare the 16:00 option. If you will arrive only after a daytime outing and want an evening visit, the 18:00 option may reduce your ticket spending. This comparison excludes fees, separately charged experiences and transport. Match validity dates and cancellation terms to the actual product you buy.
Valid through 31 October: QR entry and refunds
Both official 16:00 and 18:00 product details list the same price for adults and children and validity through 31 October 2026. After payment, generate the admission QR from the link in the Kakao notification message. The stated refund terms are 100% for unused tickets and no refund once used.
The 18:00 product title says Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, while its option labels include weekdays, weekends and public holidays. These conflict. This guide compares only dates identified for evening opening by both the official calendar and October ticket list; the option label is not evidence of general weekday validity. These displays also do not establish that all rides or special horror experiences are included.
Park admission is different from ride access
The official FAQ says an admission ticket covers sightseeing within the village and regular performances; a free-pass ticket adds rides. Neither “evening opening” nor “16:00 ticket” alone establishes that all rides and special horror experiences are included. If rides matter, compare the actual product type and its included facilities.
Park closing is also different from the last boarding time for a ride. Weather, inspection or queues can change operations or bring an earlier cutoff. Re-entry after leaving is not allowed, so do not plan to eat outside and return on the same admission.
Children under 36 months can enter free with proof of age, but the FAQ requires a separate infant-use ticket for infant-only facilities. Free park admission and free use of those facilities are different costs.
Transfer to a bus at Sanggal Station
The destination is 90 Minsokchon-ro, Giheung-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do (경기도 용인시 기흥구 민속촌로90). The official transport guide identifies Sanggal Station (상갈역) on the Suin–Bundang Line as the nearest railway station. It describes a transfer from Exit 3 to bus 37 or 10-5; the village is not directly inside the station.
If you intend to stay until 22:00, arrange the return journey separately from choosing admission. An inbound daytime bus guide does not establish the last bus at night. Check the return timetable for the line you will use before departing. If the date or performances do not fit your plan, reconsider the visit date before choosing a cheaper ticket for the same arrival time.
