Raw beef and bulgogi
Yukhoe is raw beef. Honamgak’s board specifies grade 1++ Korean beef for this bowl. The bulgogi set pairs bibimbap with 150 g of bulgogi, a cooked beef dish.
Dolsot refers to a stone pot. Ask the restaurant how the meat is prepared and which ingredients are used in the traditional or dolsot dish. If you need to avoid meat, stock or egg, also ask whether the specific dish can be adjusted.
What the set includes
The single-dish menu includes the main dish and basic side dishes. Honamgak says its bibimbap dishes use its brown-rice gochujang, a Korean chili paste. The menu does not list a fixed number of basic side dishes.
The bulgogi set combines 150 g of beef and bibimbap with accompaniments such as salad and japchae, seasonal sides and dessert. Japchae is a noodle dish. Changing the set’s bibimbap to yukhoe bibimbap adds KRW 4,000 per person; choosing dolsot bibimbap adds KRW 2,000.
The separate Jeonju bibimbap set starts at KRW 33,000 per person, with a two-person minimum and a glass of moju, a traditional Jeonju drink. Set contents may change with ingredient supply.
