Rooms and bedding

Ihwa Gotaek(이화고택) is at 91 Hanji-gil (한지길91), Wansan-gu, Jeonju. The Suryeon(수련) room accommodates six and has a private wooden veranda and two doors.

Each room has a private bathroom and ondol floor heating. Bedding is one set per two people. Ondol means a heated floor; this does not mean a room with beds or six separate bedding sets. Check-in is 15:00 and check-out 11:00.

Parking costs

The city rates checked 9 October 2026 for public car parks 1, 2 and 3 are KRW 1,200 for the first 30 minutes, then KRW 600 per 15 minutes, capped at KRW 14,400 per day. The chart calculates 30, 60 and 120 minutes before discounts. The house labels its table 24 hours while the city says per day; these do not establish the same midnight billing rule or an overnight total.

Vehicle access and discount

The house directs guests to nearby paid or free parking. Its street is one-way and permits only a brief baggage drop. On Saturdays, Sundays and busy dates the pedestrian zone blocks entry. Agree on a baggage-drop location with the house before arriving. The operator describes a 50% public-parking exit discount when the accommodation reservation is shown. Keep the booking and confirm applicability at your chosen car park.

Free parking and shuttle

Car park 1 is at 99 Girin-daero (기린대로99) and car park 2 at 30-10 Eojin-gil (어진길30-10). Free car park 4 is at 5299 Chunhyang-ro (춘향로5299), with a 2.5 km shuttle connection to the Omokdae stop. The city gives a 10:00–18:30 operating window, fixed weekday departures and flexible weekend/public-holiday service. With a late arrival or heavy luggage, match the last shuttle and the remaining luggage transfer before choosing solely by price. Map 1 is a registered parking entrance; 2 is the indoor car-park building centre, not a house doorway or step-free route.

Breakfast and booking

The operator lists perilla, seaweed and rice-cake soup delivered outside the room around 08:00. Tteokguk is soup with sliced rice cakes; this version contains perilla and seaweed. Ask about ingredients and possible changes if you have dietary restrictions. Date-specific room prices and cancellation terms come from the actual booking.
