The Shilla Seoul baby cot: recommended age and preparation by 18:00

The booking form defines infants as 36 months or younger, but that is different from the cot recommendation. A 20-month-old may be booked as an infant without meeting the cot age recommendation. Do not substitute a rail for children aged 13–35 months based on this table; ask reservations about an appropriate arrangement.

These are the hotel’s recommended ages, not an assessment of suitability for a child’s size or development, or a guarantee of allocation for your dates.

Infant equipment requires a reservation and requests may close early. The official page says items are prepared in the room by 18:00. If you need an item immediately at the 15:00 check-in, state that time and confirm whether it can be ready.

For a Deluxe room, you could organise a request as follows.

1. Give the booking reference, stay dates and child’s age in months, for example 10 months.
2. Separate the item, arrival time and time needed: for example, a baby cot, arrival at 15:00 and use requested from 15:00.
3. Check the hotel’s reply for allocation and preparation time. Submitting a request does not confirm allocation.

Deluxe offers double (king) and twin beds. Confirm the room bed type separately from infant equipment. Do not apply these conditions to another Shilla property or room category.
