Hanbat Arboretum hours: east and west gardens, greenhouse and closing days

Admission is free. East and west garden entry ends at 20:00 and visits at 21:00 in April–October, or 18:00 and 19:00 in November–March. Greenhouse entry ends at 17:30; it closes at 18:00.

Weekly closures

The east garden and greenhouse close on Mondays; the west garden closes on Tuesdays. They open normally when the weekly closure falls on a public holiday. Temporary closure notices apply separately.

The notice dated 8 October 2026 specified restricted entry and passage throughout the west garden on Saturday 17 October, 16:00–21:00, ending west-garden visits for that day. This was a dated drone-performance safety exception. It does not establish a closure on later Saturdays or other dates.

Getting there and afterward

The address is 169 Dunsan-daero, Seo-gu, Daejeon. From Government Complex Daejeon station exit 3, the operator gives a 15–20 minute walk. This is an operator estimate, not a measured or guaranteed accessible route.

For bread or a café afterward, Sungsimdang DCC is an option at Daejeon Convention Center 1 F, 107 Expo-ro. The 1 F shop runs 08:00–22:00; cafés have separate hours. It is not inside the arboretum, and food is not included in admission.
