Yangjae Flower Market Markets

Yangjae flower market: cut flowers, plant halls and parking

Plan cut-flower shopping in the morning; greenhouse listings show 07:00–19:00. On Sundays, halls A and B close on different dates, so choose the building as well as the day.

  • Cut-flower and potted-plant hours differ.
  • Both greenhouses close on fifth Sundays and Sundays in July/August.
  • Parking discounts require purchase evidence such as a card receipt or cash receipt.

Yangjae Flower Market (양재꽃시장), at 27 Gangnam-daero in Seocho-gu, Seoul, has different hours for cut-flower wholesale shops and potted-plant greenhouses. Plan bouquet-stem shopping and plant browsing by their respective areas.

The cut-flower row uses Mikael Flower's41-163 listing in the operator's shop directory. It also states noon closing on public holidays. Seoul's tourism page gives 13:00 for the cut-flower market, so the pages differ. Finishing your purchase before noon fits both published windows; the row does not establish a common closing time for every shop.

Bunhwa(분화) means plants sold in pots with roots and soil; jeolhwa(절화) means cut stems used in bouquets. The greenhouse directory includes orchids, foliage plants and succulents. Auction prices belong to a different transaction from a visitor's finished bouquet and should not be treated as retail bouquet prices.

October Sunday closures

The greenhouse halls alternate Sunday closures. In October 2026, A closes on 4 and 18 October, and B on 11 and 25 October. These dates apply the regular rule to a calendar; they do not promise every shop's temporary opening arrangements.

On a fifth Sunday, both halls close. Both also close on Sundays in July and August. This alternation is separate from cut-flower shops' Sunday closure. The wholesale centre's holiday auction notice concerns auctions, so do not use its dates as shop-opening dates.

Regular Sunday rules applied to October 2026; temporary notices remain separate.

Station and market locations

Use Exit 4 of Yangjae Citizen's Forest Station(양재시민의숲역) on the Shinbundang Line. aT describes going about 50m straight from the exit to the flower wholesale centre beside aT Center. The map shows registered roads, the market area and the exit, not a measured route to a particular shop or an accessible-route guarantee.

From Yangjae Station(양재역) on Line 3, aT also describes taking a Seongnam-bound bus from Exit 7 and getting off at Yangjae Flower Market. After buying a pot, choose transport that suits its size. The official directory provides shop locations and telephone contacts for a specific variety and quantity.
